Pack 434 and Troop 434 @ Dunwoody 4th of July Parade 2023

Posted on Jul 4 2023 - 3:03pm

Dear Pack 434!

I want to thank everyone for helping out with the fundraiser and for walking in the parade!  What a story we'll have to tell about the day it rained on our parade, but we continued on anyway!  (I'm so glad the rain stopped right as we started to head out!)  I'd like to let you all know that our fundraiser raised $112.33 in cash and credit card sales!  This is amazing!  Thank you to the cub scouts, boy scouts and adults who helped out!  You raised money, cooked cookies, decorated and rode on the Unimog, made sales and advertised, passed out waters to the thirsty, and passed out flyers to recruit new kids to have so much fun in the up coming year!  I am so proud of what you have done without complaining and without tiring but with a true community spirit and cub scout attitudes!

-Kick-Off Party

· Saturday August 26: The annual kickoff picnic will be at Brookrun Park DGCO Greenhouses next to skate park ,  4:00 to 6:00 p.m. We will grill hot dogs and hamburgers, bring our bikes or scooters, have fun field activities for the kids, and talk a little about what the year has in store. We also want to encourage you to mention Pack 434 to friends or neighbors with boys and girls in grades 1 through 5 who might be interested in joining. We are always happy to welcome new scouts and families, and the kickoff picnic is a great opportunity for them to meet the scouts and parents to see if they might be interested in joining.

Troop 434 to Pack 434's rescue!

Posted on Jul 4 2022 - 9:18pm

Huge thanks to Troop 434 for volunteering to run the Coffee-Donut Fundraiser and walk in the Dunwoody 4th of July Parade!

Thanks to their amazing turn out (and donations covering expenses from the Knights of Columbus and Golden Triangle Holdings, LLC) we raised $236.21 for Pack 434!  The boy scouts also handed out along the parade route cold bottles of waters and recruitment flyers created and printed by Maritza Escalante!  I know that today we raised awareness in the local community for Pack 434 and Troop 434!
